Twenty years of expertise, undocumented.

Prime-Volt Electrical Services is a Houston-based, family-owned electrical contractor with over 20 years of experience in commercial and light-industrial work — new construction, interior build-outs, service upgrades, power distribution, lighting, and turnkey EV charging station design and installation. Their customers aren't homeowners; they're general contractors, commercial developers, and property owners who need a contractor they can trust on a bid.

They had the expertise and the track record. What they didn't have was a professional digital presence to prove it.

The challenge

Credibility wins the bid — and it's checked online.

Human need

Credibility now gets checked online before a single call is made. Decision-makers vet a contractor's professionalism on the web before awarding work — and for Prime-Volt there was nothing to find.

Business goal

Build their first real website, establish commercial-contractor credibility, and lead with EV charging as the wedge that sets them apart.

Starting point

No web presence to establish trust, showcase completed projects, or capture leads. Sitemap, brand system, portfolio, SEO, and lead capture all had to be built from zero.

Discovery & competitive strategy

Understanding before designing.

A discovery interview locked in business goals. Then we studied the contractors they admired and how commercial clients actually vet a bid before making a call.

  • The competitors they admired — Mid-West Electric, Tron Electric, Prism Electric — shared a pattern: service-focused layouts, strong project galleries, commercial credibility, minimal distraction.
  • The recommendation: match that credibility, but go cleaner and more modern than anyone in the field.
  • EV charging was a growth market no competitor was positioning around clearly — an open lane to own.

We mapped a lead-generating sitemap — Home, About, Services, Projects, Contact — and turned a plain company description into a positioning statement: Powering Texas with Expert Electrical & EV Charging Solutions, with clear Get a Quote and View Projects CTAs.

We designed lead capture around how commercial work actually comes in — company name, project type, location, description, and file uploads — and led with an email CTA (info@prime-voltelectric.com) over a phone number, with optimized inquiry subject lines so leads sort themselves.

We wrote full project narratives, captions, and unique SEO meta for four flagship projects — Fast Park covered-parking lighting, an airline caterer's EV fleet charging, a Medical Office Building's new 2000A service, and manufacturing high-bay lighting — and added launch content for Facebook and Instagram.
